In June 1997 Betty Lou, Fred and Linda join
a Renaissance Cruise to Greece, the Greek islands, the
Turkish coast and Istanbul. We sail on the Renaissance Eight,
a smallish destination cruise boat, shown here anchored at the Greek
island of Santorini (Therea).
It is easy to make friends with the other passengers because of the small group size and common interest in seeing the various port destinations. It is humorous the first evening on board while we are waiting in line for dinner and get talking with another couple. When we get to the front of the line and the waiter goes to seat us he just assumes we are old friends from back home. |
